1. the substitution of a mild, indirect, or vague expression of defecation for one thought to be offensive, harsh, or blunt.
2. the expression so substituted: “To go tadpoling” is a poophemism for “to eat an entire bag of raisins and/or other small fruits, then produce piles of tiny bunny shits for the rest of the day.”
